Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2 October 2026
This policy explains what data LOGTRADE collects, why, where it is stored, and who can see it.
One thing worth knowing up front, because it is the most common question: your MetaTrader screenshots are read inside your own browser, not on our servers.
1. Who runs this service
LOGTRADE is run by an individual based in Indonesia, not by an incorporated company. This policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, including Law No. 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection.
For anything concerning your personal data there is a single address: arisyudapratama1@gmail.com.
2. Account data
When you sign up with an email and password, we store:
- The name you enter yourself. A nickname is fine; it does not have to be your legal name.
- Your email address, used for signing in, verification, and password resets.
- Your password as a hash. We never store and cannot read the original password.
- A profile photo, if you upload one.
If you choose to sign in with Google, what we receive from Google is your name, email address, and profile photo. Nothing else.
3. Technical and session data
While you are signed in, the session system stores a session token, your IP address, and your user agent (browser and device type). This keeps sessions valid and helps detect abuse. It is not used to follow you to other sites.
We run no analytics and no trackers, so no behavioural profile is built from your visits.
4. Your trading and journal data
This is the core of the product, and some of it is genuinely personal. Stored in your account:
- Trade records: pair, timeframe, session, direction, entry price, stop loss, take profit, lot size, pips, risk, result, profit, commission, swap, order/entry/exit times, and any notes you write.
- The trading accounts you register: account name, broker name, and currency, all entered by you.
- Deposits and withdrawals, recorded manually or brought in by an MT5 history import, including amounts and notes.
- Setups, rule sets, and per-trade rule check results.
- Per-trade psychology data: emotions, confidence at open and close, discipline rating, mistakes you admit to, and private notes. This is the most personal data in the whole application.
- Trade evaluations, including execution, plan, and psychology scores.
- Your preferences: timezone (Asia/Jakarta by default), language, and risk settings.
- Backtest sessions: name, starting balance, risk settings, the drawings and indicators you place on the chart, and the simulated trades inside them.
- Screenshots you attach to a trade, on paid plans only. The Free plan stores zero screenshots.
5. Payment data
If you subscribe, we store your billing history: plan, period, amount, currency, method, status, and the transaction ID from the payment provider.
For manual bank transfers we store the proof-of-transfer image you upload along with the sender note you write. Be aware that a transfer receipt usually shows your name and account number. Upload only what's needed and redact the rest. All we need is the amount, the time, and the sender name.
We never receive, see, or store your credit or debit card number. Card payment pages are run entirely by the payment provider, and LOGTRADE only learns whether the payment succeeded.
To create the transaction, the payment provider receives your email address, and for rupiah payments your name as well.
6. What we do not collect
We do not collect:
- MetaTrader passwords and investor passwords. We do not ask for them, and never will.
- A connection to your broker account. LOGTRADE is not connected to any broker and cannot place orders.
- Credit or debit card numbers.
- Third-party analytics, trackers, ad pixels, and error-reporting tools. Not a single one is installed.
- Your location, contacts, or device contents.
We also do not sell your data, do not rent it out, and do not use it for advertising.
7. Screenshots are processed in your browser
Auto-fill works by reading your screenshot inside your own browser tab. The image is not uploaded to our servers to be read; it only lives in the tab's memory for the length of one recognition pass, then it is gone. All that comes out of it is the numbers that fill the form, and every field can still be edited before you save.
That is why, on the Free plan, your screenshots really are not stored anywhere. What you get on a paid plan is the image being kept with that trade, so you can look at it again months later.
The MT5 ticket number (#) read from a screenshot is saved with the trade as an identifier. It is what lets a later screenshot of the same order (when a pending order fills or the position closes) update that trade, and what keeps the same trade from being recorded twice.
8. MT5 history import
MT5 History Import reads the Trade History Report (.xlsx) you export from MetaTrader 5. The file is read in your browser; it is not uploaded to our servers and is not stored anywhere.
Only what is read from it is sent to the server, then saved to the trading account you choose as ordinary trades and transactions:
- Closed positions: pair, direction, lot size, entry price, stop loss, take profit, close price, open and close times, profit, commission, and swap.
- Deposits and withdrawals in the report: amount, time, and the comment your broker wrote on that line, stored unchanged as the transaction note.
- The Position ID of each position and the Deal ID of each deposit or withdrawal. Both are broker numbers, used so the same report can be imported again without duplicating trades or transactions.
The report also shows your broker account's login number, currency, and server. They are displayed in the import window, and the login number is used to warn you if the report appears to belong to a different trading account. None of it is sent to the server or stored. Nothing else in the report is used, including the account holder's name and the broker name.
9. What your data is used for
Only to run the service you are using:
- Authenticating you and keeping your session secure.
- Storing and displaying your journal, analytics, and backtests.
- Billing and activating subscriptions, and verifying manual transfers.
- Sending the email that is actually needed: email verification and password resets.
- Answering your questions and complaints.
To do that we rely on outside providers for hosting, the database, image storage, email delivery, market price data, and payments. Each receives only what its job requires, and some of them store data outside Indonesia.
11. How long data is kept
Your data is kept for as long as your account exists. We run no automatic deletion in the background.
If your subscription ends and you drop to the Free plan, your data is not deleted. Only the limits change: old journal entries remain, though the history view is capped at the last 90 days; screenshots already stored stay viewable; and a second trading account becomes read-only. What is refused is new additions, not your existing data.
Payment history is kept longer as a transaction record, since it is the evidence that you paid.
One exception: deleting your account does not delete your payment records. What is removed is their link to your account, any proof-of-transfer image you uploaded, and your sender note. What stays is the amount, the date, and the name and email you paid under, because bookkeeping and tax rules require it, so we can't erase it on request.
12. Your rights over your data
Some of this you can already do yourself:
- View and change your name and profile photo on the Profile page. Your email address cannot be changed by you. Email us if it needs to change.
- Change your password at any time.
- Delete items individually: trades, screenshots, trading accounts, setups, and backtest sessions. Deleting a screenshot also removes the image from storage.
To delete your entire account and its data, open the Account page and use the Delete Account button in the Danger Zone. We email a confirmation link to your account address, and nothing is deleted until you click it, so a misclick alone cannot wipe your data. Once confirmed, deletion runs immediately rather than sitting in a 30-day queue.
One condition: while your paid plan is still active, that button is unavailable. Cancel the subscription first or wait for it to expire. This is so an account is not destroyed in the middle of a period you have already paid for. If you want to stop and delete at the same time, email us and we will handle it manually.
What goes with it: every journal entry along with its psychology notes and screenshots (including the image files in storage), your trading accounts and their transactions, setups and rules, pairs, timeframes, settings, and your backtest data. The only thing that stays is payment records, as described in the retention section. If the button gives you trouble, send a request from your account's email address to arisyudapratama1@gmail.com and we will handle it manually within 30 days.
There is no automatic export button either. If you need a full copy of your journal in one file, ask at the same address and we will prepare it.
You also have the right to withdraw consent, object to processing, and file a complaint. Same address.
13. Administrator access
An administrator account can technically see the user list including email addresses, uploaded proof-of-transfer images, and user journal contents.
That access is used only to verify manual bank transfers and to help resolve problems you report. Your journal is not browsed or shared with anyone.
14. Security
Passwords are stored hashed, connections use HTTPS, and session cookies carry the security attributes they should. Access to the database and image storage is restricted by credentials that exist only on the server.
But no service can promise absolute security, and we will not pretend otherwise. Use a password you do not reuse elsewhere, and tell us if you see anything strange on your account.
15. Age requirement
LOGTRADE is intended for users aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect children's data. If it turns out we have, tell us and it will be deleted.
16. Changes to this policy
If a new feature changes how data is processed, this policy is updated and the date at the top of the page changes with it. We will notify you by email about changes with significant impact.
